A Time to Be Informed

There's a time for everything, and now's the time be informed. The City will be holding a public workshop on Monday, January 28th at 7:30 PM at the Community Center concerning San Bruno Mountain History and Habitat Management issues. Click here to view the staff report, which highlights the night's presentation points. The meeting will also be televised live on Channel 27.

Habitat Management Units on San Bruno Mtn. (p. VII-4 in the SB Mtn. Habitat Management Plan)

U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and San Mateo County (manager of the HCP) have both been invited to attend Monday night's meeting. We encourage the entire community to attend, even if you do not know a great deal about the history of the San Bruno Mtn. HCP and the purposes it serves...NOW is the time to get informed. The ideas generated by the environmental community and other concerned individuals and groups will only help to strengthen our current HCP program. A reminder that rain or shine, Monte Carlo Night is still happening this Saturday, from 6:00 - 11:00 PM at Mission Blue. This is a great way to support the non-profit groups in the community, all the while having a boatload of fun! Give Nancy a call at 508-2140 and purchase your tickets NOW if you haven't already...they're $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
