Make Way!

The Volunteer of the Year Boulder made a trip from the City Hall parking lot where it was being stored to its place on the lawn in front of City Hall where its permanent residence will be. As you can see from the photos below, this is not your ordinary boulder, because what it represents are the extraordinary efforts and skills put forth by your fellow Brisbane residents and those who love this small-town community.

If you'd like to be one of the first to see how the Volunteer of the Year boulder looks unshrouded, then we invite you to come to City Hall TONIGHT at 5:30pm for the unveiling ceremony. Come and see past recipients acknowledged for their efforts by Mayor Richardson, and enjoy some light refreshments while you're here!

And don't forget, tonight is also the opening show for Concerts in the Park...so make way...the California Cowboys are coming to town! They'll be performing their best western tunes in the Community Park starting at 6:00pm, so be sure to pull out those cowboy boots (or why not, the whole get-up - we know it's there) and get ready to have a grand 'ol time!
